Just came home from bible study steamboat. And had chocolate fondue too. :) The atmosphere was quite awkward at times, but HA. I loved it, cause it made me feel like laughing. E was tickled by the end of the entire thing, combi of too much steamboat, fondue and saboteurs.
Glad the week is over, cause it meant that I could rest a bit from doing assignments today. Vacuumed the floor and did other readings instead.
As usual, had cramps yesterday. Which was inconvenient, because I had to do marketing. Invited a friend over for dinner. The grocery list came in handy when I was getting a bit delirious from the pain. I think by the time I got to the coriander stop, I could feel the pale face and cold sweat. And then cause I decided to buy cauliflower ($2!! how could i resist) I missed the bus. Uhms. Before shopping and on my way there, I had a good mind to call all the Js in my life- JR, JX and JL. But I thought I should just rough it out and have faith that God would get me home. He did. You know, He did. Just as I felt like I couldnt stand any longer at the bus stop (which couldn't be more than 3 minutes), the bus came. With the loveliest bus driver. I leaned on my 5kg worth of groceries and fell asleep on this nicely airconditioned bus which took me to my stop in 20 min, and the pain was gone, aptly in time for my 10 min walk home. I'd like to say that the bus disappeared from sight just as i started walking off.
I think this week I rollercoastered. Felt heaps tired on tuesday, too tired to wait for mummy to call. Felt like I could have died on monday with the heat and all, my lovely sydney friendsies all popped up one at a time to catch up with me. Like daisies. Wednesday, had a good run with Mel along torrens and stuffed ourselves silly with dumpling king. And thursday, dinner and talking with lyd was funny. And there's today. Learnt that someone doesn't eat vege/fruit at all (except seedless grapes, capsicums and olives!!), and is still quite healthy.
For my sister -> I don't quite think they are sunflowers. They don't look entirely like sunflowers. But it is a big yellow flower just for YOU. :) aww. so sweet.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
