As i think, when you feel like everything is going to fall into pieces, I should count my blessings instead.
1. Catching a 2.30am bus to auckland airport was terrible, but at least it meant that I had a chance to use the internet at the airport
2. Getting your flight cancelled and being stuck at sydney airport is not funny at all. Sydney airport is the worse place to be stuck at. But we got upgraded from Jetstar to Quantas. And hence had a lovely meal on the plane complete with a drink. Which made me tear, knowing how God must have planned all this.
3. Feeling oh so very unwelcomed by hostel managers is terrible, but if they didn't, i wouldn't have moved to nals- now i have the whole place to myself and i don't have to worry about someone throwing me out and my laundry is done too! seeing a pair of slippers at the backdoor made me tear too- i prayed for a pair. it's not mine for keeps, but it's good enough.
4. looking at the prospect of eating instant noodles for my last week doesn't sound too good, but it's a good way to lose weight hopefully from all the ice cream in NZ (that was only twice! but destructive enough)
5. waltzing into a really messy backpackers hostel in sydney was a culture shock, but i met the two most loveliest friends ever. Both of whom miss me and aren't afraid to let me know.
6. not knowing for sure your flight date isn't appetising, but well, it is exciting.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
