the horrors of it. You start muttering to yourself "i shouldn't have hoarded" "i'm such a hoarder" "why do i need so many plastic bags for" and then you close your eyes and say "throw!"
I'm so tired of moving/packing. I think i've upped and moved so many times this year. Knowing that next year will be the same makes me sigh. I wonder if my pencil case weighs 500g. Everything that can go into it goes into it. Didn't know that 小马来's indo-mee addiction has come in handy, because it means that i have boxes! lol. 3 boxes of indo-mee consumed over a period of 4 months is no mean feat.
my precious girl came home today! :) oranges happen to be the favourite fruit. everyone likes oranges. it's great to know that each of us has the potential to consume 3kg worth of oranges in two weeks. Many happy memories revolve around oranges. Purdee teaching me how to peel oranges, 小马来 telling us that he can only cut oranges into quarters, Fish and me sharing 3 kg of huge oranges, Lei peeling oranges for me, Joel peeling oranges for me (picture above), me and fiona cutting oranges and consuming them with ice cream... hahah. the consumption of oranges release endorphins.
she's going to leave in two days. I'm going to leave tmr... all of us can feel it. There's a change in atmosphere. the two of them have become a little strange recently. Asking for walks at 11.30pm, making sure that we walk really far, increase in teasing, sitting together with ZQ to consume ice cream. I'll be back, i'll visit, but it won't be the same. Even Purdee has been a little quiet lately. What would you do when everyone around you leaves? What will you do when you're the one being left behind? Is it easier to leave, to be the one packing and moving off, or is it easier to be the one that stays behind?
i love the rain, but please don't let it rain tmr night. Its the last time we might be running together.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
