they stared

I like this photo somehow. :)
Was reading kitesong's blog, and of course, felt a flood of emotions.

Farmstay over the weekend was goodt! Glad that Nal came with me and Veron. Got to talk to nal... irritate her a bit, play with Lucy, went to see the cows too. And as usual, they stared. We did a whole lot of baking with Kristen and Kate's bake sale. Chermain's recipe turned out quite fantastic.. glad its soo foolproof.

Bakesale was quite touching- to see a whole lot of classmates actively supporting them, by either contributing something that they baked/ buying something from them/ both. Was tempted to buy my own brownies, but someone else had better looking ones- which is still sitting on my table. Great self-control exercised there!

Went to play frisbee last night. Did bring back a lot of nightmares actually. I did wonder how sometimes its the people outside that seem to be kinder, more encouraging... They taught me how to throw, patiently caught all my wide angled throws, told me that i was good enough to just join in and play.

So as i was trudging my large sack of stuff home, waiting for the bus, i prayed, sang and waited.
"Hey sarah! U stil in bordertown? when r u coming back? -F" I wonder how come these people who've barely known me miss me. And when i got back to hostel, and knocked on her door, i was greeted with worries and misses. XQH also gave me a hug and said "你瘦了!" (which is absolutely sweetly nonsensical, cause i ate lots of baked stuff). And even ZQ came to join in the crowd. Actually, I met Jun on the bus- another of God's blessings, cause it meant yummy food for dinner!
And the brownies. Of course its for these people that are so dear to me. They are friends. People who sometimes irritate you to nuts (like on Saturdays when its grocery day), tease you, help you watch over your cooking, and worry for you when you're home late.

This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
