i wonder if the joy of receiving mail (not bills) delights everybody, if it's a universal feeling. anyway, despite the strong winds, my umbrella from home that cost so much to mail here did not overturn. And i finally got my sister's letter- which had neat appendices!
it really is so cold today, with the wind and rain. The lazy me feels like hiding under my covers and reading my book. The slightly more hardworking me says let's do work in bed (rolls eyes) and the i should be hardworking me says that i should just stay where i am, switch off the comp and write out my report before typing it in.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
