Be proud of me- i'm almost done packing. After shocked looks from heen and concerned reminders from becca, i decided, it's time to start packing again. oh my. and i'm done a day earlier, which is by far a good record, cause usually i do things last minute-so that everything can go in at the same time ma. Then after one hour of packing, i start to mumble to myself.
I've been up and out this week, alternating between Cityhall and orchard. Met the Charis team mates and we went Jap:) Spent the afternoon with Jia min gushing over wu guanzhong's art work at SAM. I absolutely loved it. It's like it makes you pause and think and inhale the simplicity and complexity of his paintings. Jia min's company was great too- helps that we are 'same same but different'. With her, i can always feel that i can be me:)
Blessings have been pouring in the whole week, and who can i thank but God. There's all these pre-mission jitters, which i'm also thankful for cause it reminds me that i cannot rely on myself and God is in control.
Wednesday was great sitting at the apple strudel cafe talking to one of my 'favouritest' people. You know, it's how you meet some people and then you can really see that kind of gentleness which adds another dimension to their beauty. It's always very nice talking to them or in this case her, and you see things from their perspective. Me, being a very mean person, needs those kinds of reminders all the time.
In any case, I'll leave the rest of the packing to tmr! haha. toothbrush usually goes in last. Happy that my deltoid is better. The Tetanus jab really hurts. it was difficult abducting my arm- and so i realise the importance of my middle deltoid.
anyway, here are more pictures of my lake walks. That's my school below
Polar Wetland- the only (i think) natural water body in my neighbourhood. Oh, there are 4 lakes around (not including this one) all man made. I was very amused to still see telephone lines and electrical lines above ground.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
