I should blog, before i officially sleep and nurse my cold/flu/bug. The return of the white clothed suit hasn't been a smooth ride. I have insight, and the higher up theres are generally nice people when they talk to you. Just that the staff room happens to be an open area, and whatever convos that go on in there I can hear it too.
Went for Daniel's birthday party tonight. Such a dear friend. :) I'm glad i dragged myself all the way to Clementi. Had a pretty fun time with becca too! hahaha. talking, lamenting and cheering each other on. I like!! As usual, the maiden saves the day for Sarah with none other than a packet of tissues. Plus the yummy toast and chicken claw at the cafe:D As for Daniel's party, i really appreciated the time of worship. Funny, how it is, the first party that I've been to where someone chooses to give thanks to God first. As I was singing Hosanna and From the Inside Out, it just reminded me of God's faithfulness and my purpose and drive in life. To know that God rescues, and that He's the only one that can bring me from nothing to eternity. I could cry, but I have no tears left today. becca and xl, we can do it! Met Daniel's mum again too! She sent me off at the airport last year:D and she remembers!
Becca can testify how miraculous it was, we both were just lamenting and thinking about how we could get back home, probably not even home, just to get to the busstop from his house- that awful dark jungle that we would have to walk through, but hey, we got a lift all the way back to TPY. Plus plus plus, they actually wanted to drop us off at Bishan, and they missed the turn out. it was like wow.
And then i spent thursday night in the lovely comforts of of starbucks partner in crime. Even though our agenda was to get me CNY clothes, but but but, haha, we happen to be non-clothes-shopping people. and ended up in starbucks sipping coffee again. FYI, i have CNY clothes thanks to my mum who pushed me into Bossini.
Conclusion of it all? I'm thankful. How can I not ever be? My lack of faith never ever diminishes God's faithfulness. It fact, his faithfulness all the more apparent and bright.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
Quiet here in this spare room
But you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
But this lullaby plays on
