I'm very amused by this. world peas!! contrary to what valerie says, no, i'm not gone yet. will be gone soon. tmr morning. wells. thank you to all my friends who wish me well, who've prayed for me as well. I have not quite much of an idea what's going to happen exactly. think i need lots of prayer.. and yes, for accountability purposes, i must remember to give thanks no matter what happens. :) not that i expect to do great things. little things will do, ordinary.

Right. and i didn't smile again. That was day 2 at cityhall, esplanade. Vanessa was performing, so we went to see:) nice music.. i like. I think they blended quite well together.. then again, i'm not that into acapella, so yea. After that, we walked around the area, venturing to the merlion, of which weiheen and shu zhen were happily taking lots and lots of silly photos- like standing with an umbrella trying to look splashed by the merlion. I think the ubin trip and being sun-kissed drove them to extremes. walked to fullerton to use the toilet. and then we did this..

lols. but all was good fun. The next day, was day 3 at cityhall. This time round, we went to watch Dim Sum Dollies! with Fional and Val. I think Selena Tan is brilliant to have written the script- like some messages were implicitly explicit. She had us laughing and clapping throughout most of the show. was updated too! so that was cool. I wonder how come sunburn and waist issues aren't covered in workmen's compensation.
Day 4 was at Raffles place. Which is today really. Started the morning late cause i spent the night before preparing for cell. Poor time management. Had to make a trip to school lib to photocopy and borrow some stuff, then rushed off to Jie Ru's house for sushi. Walking to AMK from school to take bus was a bad idea. it felt like crossing the desert. People who live in landed property do need cars. I miss eating sushi. =D
Decided to go off early so that i can make it to The Arcade to change money before they close. Poor jeremy had to pei me all the way there. That was in exchange for sushi, but unfortunately all the sushi ended up digested before they could leave Jie Ru's house. But that's what friends are for right:)
sarah has nice friends. :) woots

worry
Tuesday, February 19, 2008

That's the movie i caught today with val, kin, king, zhen, mag and chu:) so happy.. it was really quite beautiful and touching. Go catch it if you have the time:) It was touching because he still loved her after she lost her memory and went after another guy. It was moving because he couldn't bear to part with her for a month after 45 years of being together. It was satisfying (at least temporary) because she had her peak at the last moment and remembered him and that she would never wear yellow.
I realised that my classmates are meeting up almost everyday. We're fun loving people- venturing all the way to bugis just to eat, to ubin for adventure, to bintam for seafood [all of which i can't go :( ]

After valentine's day passed last week, with scores of guys buying bouquets of flowers sold at ridiculous prices, truly, i thought that was quite something. well, you can't eat flowers. maybe you could pluck off the petals and put it in a bath, but i don't think many of us have bath-tubs. becca suggested getting cashcards instead-with that $90 in it.

went to daniel's church last saturday. i like his church interior. feels homely.. abit like public mansion. Even though everyone was really friendly, nothing beats home ground. Nothing beats worshipping together with people you've known for years. People that you've grown up with. People who've seen you being knocked out by cabbage heads. family: you get short-fused with them at times, but love each other to bits most of the time.

hols are here. must cherish and remember this feeling of having hols. worry plagues me though. a feeling of unsettledness.

This lullaby
Monday, February 11, 2008

yay. i finally got my long awaited book. I admit that i have borrowed from the library more than 3 times and probably read it more than five times.
This lullaby is only a few words
A simple run of chords
quiet here in this spare room
But if you can hear it, hear it
Wherever you may go
I will let you down
but this lullaby plays on
I need to get Godma a pressie and my life in order. Thought about alot of stuff whilst jogging yesterday night. I finally concluded that whatever insecurities I have, God is more than enough:)
