i have to say a big big thank you to mr penguin.. haha. we went kino today. surprisingly, at least for me, there was 20% off for card members. yay. so sarah had a big discount off her purchases thanks to his card. after I paid (using the gift voucher from 1904) mr penguin just took the bag, which i didn't think much of until i got home. Mummy opened the bag to see what i bought and she found this extra bag inside containing a book. haha. so the conversation went like this

mummy: whose book is this?

me: not mine. not yours meh?

mummy: i found it inside the bag

me: (still very blur) maybe it's erin's

mummy: i found it inside the kino bag

me: (thinking to myself) oh no.. did i take it by mistake? but i don't remember paying for it. maybe they gave free gift. but it's kinda thick to be free..

and so i opened the book and i found a letter. and yes.. it's none other than dear mr penguin who gave it to me. haha. so amused at my blurness, his ingenuity and sneaky-ness. And then i read the letter.. which was really touching. felt like tearing. =)

Thank God for mr penguin, who happens to most of the time appear at the right time, like on wed when i was quite upset. I guess God really has his ways of working around things. I thought about it during cell. Without God, i could be a straight A student(since i'll have all the time in the world to study) i could have experienced being in a relationship, i could have lots of things, but because of God, even though bad things happen, i still have this assurance that they happen for good. I'm not being optimistic, but what are the chances of me going online when i didn't intend to, and mr penguin going online just at the same time.. on the very day that i needed some kind words the most. Even better still, i can have the assurance that there will be more good things to come.

Thank God for jie too.. for cell on friday. it gave me time to think of lots of things to realise lots of other things and to read psalms 119, which i was supposed to read during one of the QTs this week but didn't. And i had time to pray with my dear sister too. yup

so the conclusion is, thank God for bad times, for people who take me for granted, and for cheering me up, for reminding me that You're always there and that i have friends who don't take me for granted=)))
